Social Media Intern
Location: Remote, Asia based is preferred but not required
Start date: Immediately

Job Status: 10-12 hrs per week
Job Description
The social media intern will work with AFWA’s Communication team to :
- Create engaging blog and social media content
- Monitor social media analytics with the Communications team
- Assist in the general distribution of press releases, media alerts and newsletters
- Provide support to the Communications team at online events
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo and LinkedIn
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Canva
- Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
- Must be fluent in English. Additionally, Sinhala, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Khmer or Bahasa language skills would also be an asset.
- Experience with social media management platforms and/or social media calendars
- Familiarity with labor and human rights issues in the fashion industry
- Must have your own laptop
