Asia Floor Wage Alliance, Global Labor Justice – International Rights Forum (GLJ-ILRF) and 20 garment worker unions from six Asian countries (Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan) released a new report detailing how the wage theft of Asian garment workers directly led to high corporate profits for global fashion brands. The global campaign to #FightTheHeist aims to stop billionaire payouts from dividends and stock buybacks until Asian garment workers are repaid their lost COVID wages.
