On 3rd May 2019, Asia Floor Wage Alliance and Global Labour Justice started the #GarmentMeToo campaign to spotlight the gender-based violence that women garment workers face daily in supplier factories across Asia. The campaign demanded that global garment and apparel brands create concrete changes in working conditions, on production lines, at the industrial level and on global supply chains.
