An Asia Dalit Rights Forum Side Event at the #UNESCAP Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development 2022

Asia Floor Wage Alliance’s India partner, Tamil Nadu Textiles and Common Labour Union (TTCU), is speaking at the Asia Dalit Rights Forum Side Event at the #UNESCAP Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development 2022, which looks at violence against communities discriminated on work and descent (CDWD) and modern and traditional forms of slavery.

Catch the Dindigul District General Secretary of TTCU, Deivanai, speaking in Tamil (with English translator) at the panel titled ‘Building Forward: Communities Affected by Modern Slavery in Asia’ on the violence and discrimination faced by Dalit women workers in the garment industry due to unfair brand practices.
