The Global 16 Days Campaign will bring together leaders and activists from different sectors for a panel discussion on the urgent need to address the issue of femicide (i.e., the gender-related killing of women) in the world of work and explore how ILO C190, in addition to other existing legal protections and political commitments to end femicide, can be utilized to prevent lethal violence against women workers.

The panel will be moderated by International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and co-hosted by Solidarity Center, Sangram, SWASA, Global Labor Justice-International Labor Rights Forum (GLJ-ILRF), Tamil Nadu Textile and Common Labour Union (TTCU), Asia Floor Wage Alliance (AFWA), and other allies.
