On the six-month anniversary of the COVID-19 outbreak at Brandix, Asia Floor Wage Alliance’s Sri Lanka partner unions and workers’ organizations held a press conference demanding accountability for serious industrial health and safety disasters. Six Sri Lankan Unions and workers’ organizations have previously filed a complaint with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) demanding IFC conduct proper due diligence as part of their loan to Brandix.
